Our Top 5 Websites

A Year in Review 2025

Another financial year has flown by—and with it, a wave of bold ideas, refined designs, and powerful digital transformations. As we wrap up FY 2024–2025, we’re celebrating the work that pushed creative boundaries, solved complex challenges, and helped our clients grow.

While we’re proud of every project we launch, a few stand out for the way they showcase the craft, care, and strategy that define what we do. From large-scale migrations to brand-new builds, here are five websites that best represent our work over the past 12 months.

Introducing our Top 5 Websites of 2025—each one a testament to collaboration, innovation, and the kind of digital experiences that make a lasting impact.

Dugout Mafia Sports

Vision // Channel the raw energy of baseball culture into a bold, modern eCommerce experience that balances attitude with usability.
Consideration // Drive product discovery and bookings simultaneously through a vibrant visual identity and frictionless navigation, tailored to a new-generation sports audience.
Team // Emma Jackson, Kacey Grant, Peter Goodwin, Matt Jackson

Project Details

Dugout Mafia Sports came to us as a fresh, energetic brand entering the baseball equipment scene. With a bold name and a unique offering blending retail with interactive training (via their HitTrax batting cage), we knew this site had to pack a punch from the first click.

Visually, the site delivers that punch. It pairs a moody black-and-white foundation with bright, energetic accents—neon pink, blues, and yellow used sparingly but impactfully. The use of “difference” blend mode effects on images creates a high-contrast, electric vibe that sets the tone for an action-oriented experience. Hover states and layered image interactions keep the site in motion, evoking the speed and precision of the sport itself.

The eCommerce functionality is equally refined. A side-cart and sticky navigation elements keep shopping frictionless, while a clean mega menu gives immediate access to categories. We’ve ensured product exploration is front and centre, but the HitTrax batting cage booking feature is seamlessly woven throughout the journey—supporting both impulse buys and high-intent bookings.

This site doesn’t just sell gear—it immerses users in the brand’s fast-paced, high-energy world. Dugout Mafia Sports now has a platform that feels as powerful and playful as the sport it represents.

Straight ‘N’ Level Flight Training

Vision // Craft a serene, user-friendly digital experience that embodies the freedom of aviation while building trust with a regional and rural audience.
Consideration // Design an intentionally minimal site structure to reflect clarity, approachability, and flexibility—essential traits for first-time and regional pilots navigating their flight training journey.
Team // Kacey Grant

Project Details

Straight ‘N’ Level Flight Training approached us to design a website that could reflect the calm, focused nature of flight while resonating with aspiring pilots across rural NSW. Their business model is built on flexibility, personal connection, and community. To support this, we created a lightweight, three-page site with visual clarity and usability at its core. The palette—navy, sky blue, pale green—anchors the site in both natural and aviation-inspired tones, invoking the open skies and landscapes of regional NSW. These colours, paired with soft-edged containers and cloud-textured backgrounds, evoke a gentle energy that perfectly mirrors the calm confidence required in flight.

Design elements are minimal but intentional: accordions simplify deeper content, grid layouts provide scannable structure, and real student imagery layered into testimonial sliders adds warmth and trust. The layout guides users through key offerings without distraction—ideal for first-time users who may be uncertain about their flight training options.

By balancing aesthetic restraint with meaningful storytelling, this site positions Straight ‘N’ Level not just as a flight school—but as a trusted community partner empowering rural Australians to take to the skies.

Hover UAV

Vision // Celebrate a decade of industry leadership with a bold, forward-facing redesign that merges cutting-edge design with a sharper user experience.
Consideration // Reimagine the visual identity and structure to reflect Hover UAV’s maturing service model, support deeper content engagement, and enhance credibility in a fast-evolving tech space.
Team // Emma Jackson, Kacey Grant, Peter Goodwin

Project Details

To mark their 10-year anniversary in 2025, Hover UAV partnered with us once again—three years after we built their original website—to deliver a complete digital refresh. The redesign wasn’t just cosmetic; it was an opportunity to match their elevated brand maturity, refined service offering, and growing authority in the drone industry with a site that felt unapologetically modern and dynamic.

The updated visual direction is striking. Moving away from the heavier, darker blacks of the original site, the new design embraces a brighter, cyber-tech palette—layering deep navy with gradients of light, mid, and purple-toned blues. These tones are enhanced by subtle animated accents and sleek geometric motifs, like angular triangle details on card corners, which add edge without disrupting flow. Drone vector graphics now feature more prominently, adding both context and visual rhythm throughout the experience.

From a UX and UI perspective, the overhaul is substantial. We restructured the entire site architecture—introducing a mega menu for faster access to key areas, and rolling out a new service model based on four clear packages. Each package has its own custom layout, optimised to help users understand the offer quickly and drive conversions. The redesigned Resource Centre is another standout. With filtering, search, and a far more intuitive layout, it’s now a genuinely helpful destination—positioning Hover UAV not just as a service provider, but as a thought leader and educator in the industry.

Rolled out across more than 200 pages and content items, this redesign is not just a facelift—it’s a strategic transformation, purpose-built to take Hover UAV into the next decade of growth.

The Woodworkers Company

Vision // Migrate a large, content-heavy Joomla site to the latest platform version while delivering a complete visual transformation that honours the brand’s heritage and elevates the digital customer experience.
Consideration // Seamlessly modernise the site’s infrastructure and design without compromising functionality or the rich legacy of content and commerce that underpins the business.
Team // Matt Jackson, Emma Jackson, Kacey Grant

Project Details

For over a century, The Woodworkers Company has stood as a benchmark for craftsmanship in timber joinery. In 2024, they engaged us to carry that legacy forward into the digital space—with a Joomla 3 to Joomla 5 migration and a full-scale design overhaul.

This wasn’t a simple upgrade. The website includes 1944 products, 370 categories, 208 articles, and over 440 custom content modules, all of which had to be carefully migrated and restructured. With a highly customised setup—including JShopping components, bespoke scripts, and layered request-a-quote functionality—we meticulously re-engineered each element for optimal performance and compatibility with Joomla 5.

Visually, the transformation is striking. The previous site was functional but outdated—dominated by flat colours, boxed layouts, and minimal storytelling. The new design introduces a fresh, responsive layout that blends rustic heritage with modern polish. Serif typography, rich woodgrain textures, and tree-themed background motifs reinforce the brand’s artisanal roots, while deep greens and warm browns create an earthy, authentic aesthetic.

The homepage now features layered content blocks, custom animations, and immersive imagery that tell a more compelling story—bringing the brand’s physical craftsmanship into a digital setting. We also implemented a mega menu and drag-and-drop page builder to give the client more control over content presentation and future growth.

The result is more than just a facelift—it’s a complete digital evolution. The new Woodworkers site is technically future-proof, visually impactful, and built to scale—ready to serve both longtime customers and the next generation of builders, designers, and renovators.

THEHOOLYTEAM

Vision // Build a distinct, standalone digital presence that reflects the team’s local roots, family values, and commitment to honest, community-focused real estate.
Consideration // Create a modern, approachable site that simultaneously appeals to buyers, sellers, and investors—while humanising the brand and strengthening local trust.
Team // Emma Jackson, Kacey Grant

Project Details

When THEHOOLYTEAM approached us, they were ready to evolve beyond templated real estate portals. As a family-run agency embedded in the heart of Thornlands and Redland City, their brand had outgrown its generic web presence. Our task: craft a dedicated site that would showcase their personality, expertise, and strong connection to the community—all while supporting real results for sellers, buyers, and rental clients.

Visually, the site strikes a confident tone. A deep teal base, paired with Freedom Property’s signature neon green, gives the design modernity and punch. Topographic line textures and layered imagery nod to both local landscapes and THEHOOLYTEAM’s grounded, approachable style. Strategic use of team photos throughout reinforces the personal touch that defines their brand—this isn’t just real estate, it’s people-first property guidance.

The site architecture was carefully planned to speak to three key audiences: homeowners looking to sell, buyers exploring the area, and property owners seeking rental management. Clear call-to-actions, testimonial sliders, embedded video, and an intuitive valuation form all support conversion without clutter.

We also integrated a real-time chatbot to enhance engagement—making it easy for potential clients to ask questions or make contact, day or night.

The result is a vibrant, purpose-built digital presence that positions THEHOOLYTEAM as trusted experts in the Redlands property market—and captures the energy, care, and commitment that fuel their success.
